REMOVAL: Tuesday, December 16th- Sunday, December 21st- 9AM till 4PM (conducted in two phases- see below information for details on what can be removed when)

PACKING AND SHIPPING:Bidders may arrange shipping / moving with the company of their choosing. However, we do recommend Navis Pack and Ship. Be sure to have the Auction Name and Lot numbers you plan to bid on so they will be able to give you an accurate estimate for shipping. Once items are released by the winning bidder to a third party, such as a shipping or moving company, Penny Worley Auctioneers & Appraisers, Inc., assumes no liability.

A 20% Buyer’s Premium is in effect. If you pay by cash or wire transfer, it will be 17%. We do not accept checks of any kind. If you pay by wire transfer, no items can be removed until the wire clears our bank- so plan accordingly.

Since this is a casual sale under Ohio law, NO SALES TAX will be charged.

A $25 Authorization Hold will be put on your credit card once you register. This validation is not a deposit, just a hold, and it will be released by us immediately at the conclusion of the auction. Depending on your bank, it may take 3-7 business days for it to appear.

Bidders shall rely on their own inspection and not the Auction Company, Sellers or their agents. Descriptions and photographs are provided as a convenience. While we endeavor to make good-faith descriptions, they are not a substitute for an in-person diligent inspection. NEVER ASSUME!!

All items are “as-is, where-is”- neither the Auctioneer nor the Seller makes any warranty with respect to working condition or fitness for a particular purpose.

The auction STARTS TO CLOSE MONDAY, DECEMBER 15th at 3PM EASTERN at the rate of 10 items per minute. If there's any activity within five minutes of an item's scheduled closing time, bidding will be extended another five minutes.

The Kings Island Resort and Conference Center has been around since the 1970’s. Not all equipment is that old, but much of it is. Most items show wear and nothing should be assumed to be showroom new.

Successful bidders are responsible for proper and safe removal of items they win. In some instances, proof of liability insurance may be required. There will be no Auctioneer-provided moving or loading assistance- so be sure to be bring personnel, tools, ladders, dollies, proper vehicles etc. as necessary.

Electric and plumbing will be disconnected by and at the expense of the Facilities Staff at Kings Island Resort and Conference Center.

Unless the item’s description specifically states otherwise, no item includes scrap rights of any kind. For example, if you purchase a bathtub and toilet from a guest room, you CANNOT remove pipes, etc. from the walls.

Guest room descriptions and photos are representative. Exact contents and condition may significantly vary. Preview/ inspection is strongly recommended. There is a chance some rooms may contain bedbugs. We strongly recommend you inspect the room contents in-person. If you win any of the guest rooms, you have the option of abandoning the mattress- and that might be the smart thing to do.

Published removal times as outlined below are firm. If you cannot remove your items during such times, do not bid!! Note removal is divided into two phases. If there’s any ambiguity about whether an item can be removed during Phase One or Phase Two, then the Auctioneer shall decide in her sole and absolute discretion.

REMOVAL SCHEDULE- 9AM till 4PM SHARP EACH DAY

PHASE ONE: Tuesday, December 16th, Wednesday, December 17th and Thursday, December 18th (small items, banquet tables and chairs, lobby & bar furniture, common area light fixtures, exit signs, all kitchen equipment except for hoods and walk-ins, game machines, landscaping etc.)

PHASE TWO: Friday, December 19th, Saturday, December 20th, and Sunday, December 21st (guest room contents, “heavy equipment” such as hoods, walk-ins, boilers, doors, toilets, sinks, the sports bar itself, check-in desk, flag pole, etc.)

Each day of removal begins at 9AM SHARP and ends at 4PM SHARP. The gate will be locked promptly at 4:30, so you must vacate the property by that time each day.
